Paul Dobias

Paul Dobias has served as President of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE) Local 3 for over a decade. This local represents a bargaining unit of approximately 3500 engineers, scientists, and technicians at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD); Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NNSY-NFPC), and Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Inactive Ships (NNSY-INACTSHIPS).

Paul Dobias graduated from the University of Delaware (’90 BChE), worked for the Bergen County Community Action Program (BCCAP) in Hackensack, NJ, and has worked as a Chemical Engineer at NSWCPD for the last 32 years in the Corrosion and Coatings Branch. His specialty is as the Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Corrosion Control In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA).
